Bill Archer

Picture
Bill Archer (ex Royal Navy radar and electronics engineer) joined SOFAR when they acquired Sir Horace Lamb, and was onboard for she delivery to Bermuda.
When SOFAR gained the use of the Tudor Hill IBM 1620 computer, he taught himself the Fortran Coding language, in order to assist Ants Piip with his Velocimeter project.
